Forbes：Angelina Jolie is the highest paid actress in Hollywood

According to Forbes, Hollywood beauty actress Angelina Jolie earned an astounding $33 million from June 2012 to June 2013 year. Kristen Stewart, who topped the list last year with $34.5 million, ranks third this time around with $22 million.

Most of Angelina Jolie’s money came from her upcoming film Maleficent, which is produced by Walt Disney Pictures, and scheduled to be released in the summer of 2014.


“Hollywood hasn’t shied away from Jolie.” Forbes’ chief Dorothy Pomerantz wrote.

“She’s still one of the few actresses who can demand a paycheck north of $15 million for the right movie — like Disney’s retelling of the old Sleeping Beauty story, Maleficent. The film, which hits theaters next summer, marks Jolie’s return to blockbusters and big money. Jolie tops our list of Hollywood’s Top-Earning Actresses with an estimated $33 million in earnings between June 2012 and June 2013.”

“It’s been three years since Angelina Jolie‘s last big movie, The Tourist, with Johnny Depp. It underperformed for a film with that kind of star power, bringing in $278 million on a $100 million budget.”

Just like before, to determine the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, Forbes considered upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements and advertising work.

The top ten highest earning actresses also includes Jennifer Lawrence ($24 million) and Kristen Stewart ($22 million) into the top three, with Hollywood royalty such as Jennifer Aniston ($20 million),Emma Stone($16 million),Charlize Theron($15 million), Sandra Bullock ($14 million), Natalie Portman(14 million), Mila Kunis(11 millions), and Julia Roberts ($11 million).
