Currently, Deepika is eulogized by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is not know to be bountiful with praise. On the last day of the shooting of Ram Leela, Bhansali reportedly lavished compliments on her. The actress acted as an intense scene and it so touched Bhansali that he couldn’t keep himself from eulogizing her in front of everyone.
When hearing the praise coming from Bhansali, Deepika Padukone was apparently moved had tears in her eyes.
According to tabloid, “Deepika has put in a lot of hard work in Ram Leela and hearing the praise from Bhansali on the last day touched her deeply.”
The compliment was all the more special because Leela, the character that Deepika performs in the film, is named after Bhansali’s mother, therefore it is very dear and special to him. He obviously wouldn’t be loose with praise.
Deepika Padukone pairs with Ranvir Singh in Ram Leela, which is a Hindi romantic-drama film and will be released on 15th November, 2013. Even though she suffered some blame by Bhansali during the making, compliments at the end makes all the hard work worth it.
